Nam Ngiep 2C Hydropower Plant

    The Nam Ngiep 2C Hydropower Project is located near Phapheng Village, Khoun District, Xieng Khouang Province, in northern Lao PDR — positioned close to the confluence of the Nam Hai and Nam Ngiep rivers, flowing southward alongside National Road 1D.
    The project was completed and commissioned in January 2017, operating under a 25-year concession agreement with the Government of Lao PDR, with electricity supplied to the state-owned Electricité Du Laos (EDL) for domestic consumption. In 2022, APDL Sole Co., Ltd — a subsidiary of Alpha Divisions Public Company Limited (ALPHAX) — entered into an agreement to acquire the project, with the acquisition finalized in 2026. The project is now proudly owned and operated by APDL Sole Co., Ltd, reinforcing the company’s growing portfolio of sustainable hydropower assets across Lao PDR.
